Gerard Docquier, retired National Director passed away the morning of Feb. 5, 2010. Gerard created the Humanity Fund, the Canadian Steel Trade and Employment Congress and served on the MacDonald Royal Commission and played an active role in keeping the labour movement united. He was recognized for his work for Canada by being awarded the Order of Canada. He will be missed. |
